Legendary former World Heavyweight title challenger Chuck Wepner shared an exclusive look at the telegram he received from promoter Don King two days after the historic Muhammad Ali-Chuck Wepner match in Cleveland, Ohio in 1975.

The telegram is fascinating, and apparently quite valuable. Wepner said that rival promoter Bob Arum saw the artifact in Las Vegas at the Ali Birthday Party bash, and offered Wepner the sum of $25,000 for it. Wepner declined.

Here is the text of the telegram...

Let me say to begin with that if I had to do it again I would do it all over again. I am very proud of you. So don't you in no way feel that you let me down. I think you are a giant of a man, and I consider you my dear friend now and I shall continue to do so throughout my life. So bang in there man, we got to do it together. I have many ideas for a giant called Wepner. I love you. God Bless you. Don King
