Boxing Has An Anti Eastern European Racism Problem

By Scoop Malinowski

The boxing establishment does not want to get stuck with having white Eastern European champions dominating the sport. So 32 year old super welter Bakhram Murtazaliev 23-0 (17 KOs), 34 year old welter Daniyar Yeleussinov 11-0 (6 KOs) and 32 year old WBO/IBF Janibek Alimkhanuly 17-0 (12 KOs) are being frozen out of the big fights.

Each has looked sensational in the few opportunities they were given but since have been shunned from acquiring the high profile big money fights.

Because they would win and dominate and that is precisely what the USA/UK based establishment does not want to deal with.

Tyson Fury revealed a few years ago that Eastern Europeans are not welcome to be a part of the prime time major fight circuit, and all the big champion attractions are supposed to be from the west. Oleksandr Usyk was a rare exception who somehow maneuvered his way through all the politricks and agendas and beat establishment favorites Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury twice each by decisions.

But Usyk’s days are numbered as he is 38.

So what this means is the boxing establishment is intentionally not giving the public the best fighters and best vs best fights and that’s due to racial and identity politics.

Gennady Golovkin was one of the greatest champions in the history of the sport, a perfect fighting machine who was dodged by all the marquee names for almost a decade once he showed how fearsome and formidable he could fight inside a ring. But Golovkin was so good, he attracted an audience who wanted to see his big drama shows, even if it was against B level opponents. It wasn’t his fault all the marquee names were running scared. So it’s plausible that we never even got to see the very best performances of Golovkin in his prime because B level opponents could not inspire his very best dimensions. I am fairly certain the only reason the Canelo Franchise fought him at the end was because he had to agree to play soft to get the big money from the boss. Canelo had all the leverage over outsider Golovkin. Everyone in boxing knows when they sparred in LA early in each’s career, Golovkin thrashed the Mexican easily.

Vasil Lomachenko was another all time great performer who was – during his prime years – also ducked by the marquee names and was cheated out of the big money and proving his extraordinary all time excellence.

There is no question about it, boxing has an anti Eastern European discrimination problem and it’s cheating the sport out of reaching it’s ultimate heights.

Murtazliev, Alimkhanuly and Yeleussinov may actually be all time great talents, perfect fighting machines developed by a lifetime of dedication, sacrifice and strict training.

The greatest talents often lie buried out of sight. – Plautus
