Manny Pacquiao took a shot at Floyd Mayweather at his comeback fight press conference in Los Angeles. “Floyd Mayweather, he’s running the whole twelve rounds and he won the fight. I feel sorry for the fans because the fight’s boring,” Pacquiao told Fight Hub TV. “That’s not what the fans are expecting from us. As a fighter, if I’m a fan, I want to see a good fight, an exciting fight, not a fashion show. People want action.”
The best fighters Pacquiao ever fought were revealed at the press conference: Marco Antonio Barrera, Oscar De La Hoya, Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez and Antonio Margarito. Mayweather was excluded.
45 year old Pacquiao is set to fight Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title on July 19 in Las Vegas.
A Pacquiao vs Mayweather rematch remains a possibility for later in 2025 or 2026.
