Finished Fury Knows He’s Doomed, Must Duck Usyk

Tyson Fury must know his unprofessional lifestyle of not properly taking care of his body with bad nutrition and drinking habits has caught up with him at age 34.  All the years of eating poorly and drinking have left Fury with a physique that looks unfit for any professional sport, especially boxing.

Fury most know and feel that he is not up to the awesome task of trying to beat Oleksandr Usyk to unify the world heavyweight championship and this is why he has decided to shamefully duck the soccer stadium filling mega fight that has been perfectly set up for April, May or June.

Boxing is the most dangerous, difficult, challenging sport of all. Former NFL great Lawrence Taylor, considered to be one of the greatest and most fearsome defensive stalwarts in NFL history for the New York Giants, had so much respect for boxing that he told  former champion Bobby Czyz, “I could never do what you do.”

Boxing requires extraordinary dedication, discipline and sacrifice to excel in, succeed in and sustain supremacy.

Fury, with his “Two-Ton” Tony Galento physique, has evidently reached the end of his prime and no longer can compete against the best. That’s what his actions are saying loud and clear. He ducked a super fight with Anthony Joshua late last year to fight Chisora for the third time and now he’s ducked Usyk by pricing himself out of the clash of titans that would determine the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis.

There is no other logical explanation for why Fury is running away from the man he called “a middleweight.”

There is no other logical explanation for why the biggest loudmouth in boxing today hasn’t said a word in weeks about facing Usyk.

Its time to move on and leave Fury to do the exhibition circuit or pro wrestling. The Gypsy King is finished, stick a fork in Tyson Fury.

Update:  Fury demanded a 70-30 split today, though Usyk holds three of the four titles. Usyk agreed to the unfair split by social media post and suddenly now the fight has been agreed upon. The WBA says the fight is on.

Fury may get his 70 but he’s lost all respect. Usyk is being lauded for his astonishing sacrifice to make the fight happen for the sport. Many believe Usyk deserves the 60-40 split in his favor because he holds three of the belts. Usyk has won the pre-fight aspect of the clash by devastating knockout.
