Alekandr Strelnikov: Hello, Scoop. How are you, my friend? Golovkin gave up a second championship title in a row (first IBF and yesterday WBA Middleweight title). What do you think about it?
Scoop Malinowski: He must have another option he’s working on is my guess.
AS: But this is not retirement, in your opinion?
Scoop” If he wanted to retire I think he would have by now.
AS: Do you think he remains attractive to big rivals even without championship titles?
Scoop: Yes because the titles are losing value, Golovkin name is better than titles.
AS: If we assume that a big money fight is already in development for Golovkin, then who could be his opponent, in your opinion?
Scoop: Maybe Pacquiao, Kovalev, Ward [smiles]… ready for any big surprise.
AS: Mayweather [smiles]?
Scoop: No because Mayweather only does fake fights [smiles].
